Hitman (2007)
The Good:
First off, Olga Kurylenko is so unbelievably, ridiculously, and breath-takingly hot in this film. Never heard of her before, but she is gorgeous and makes the film worth a watch by herself!
The fight choreography was pretty good in the film.
There were a few chuckles included.
Decent, if unbelievable, action.
The Bad:
I wasn't a fan of the directing or editing in the film. It was a little too choppy for my tastes in parts and a little too slow-motion-filled in others.
The acting was so-so.
The plot was similar to half the action movie plots out there (mix a little The Bourne Identity with The Transporter, but make it based in Russia!) .
Too little character development for my liking too.
Overall: For a video game movie, it falls dead center in the ranks. It was no Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (which I enjoyed) but it sure was no BloodRayne (avoid). Rent it if you are curious and can't go without checking it out (at least for Olga). It's not terrible.
*I got to see it at a preview screening thanks to my buddy Mike.*

I never cared for the video game so I hold out zero hope for the movie. It seems as though they're seeking to give an unredeemable character some sort of redemption that always turns my stomach a bit - particularly in the day and age when filth like Hostel is shown in theatres and no one seems to mind.
