Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)
The Good:
The action scenes were pretty good.
I like the whole zombie holocaust idea, so that aspect of the plot appealed to me a lot.
I like Milla Jovovich as Alice.
The Bad:
All the decent parts of the plot were rip-offs from Romero or the earlier Resident Evil films... well, except for the whole new development in it, which was entirely ridiculous and even more unbelievable than the basic plot.
Not scary.
Not suspenseful.
The end was anti-climatic and didn't wrap things up very well.
Overall: Honestly, *sigh*, skip it. It's Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (minus the nuttiness) divided by Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave (minus the humor).

Oh Resident Evil - silly Resident Evil. Stay where you are best - on the console - leave movies to people who are not without an ounce of creativity of soul.
I have watched every one of these (save this one) because I am a sucker for zombie films, and because I enjoyed the original game. I also love Milla, though she undoubtedly picks some questionable projects behind which to throw her name.
She remains the ONLY thing I like about Resident Evil. The plots become more and more ridiculous and stray further and further away from the games on which they are supposed to be based.
However - I must say this - if I'm in an end of the world scenario I'd rather have Milla than Keanu :p
