The Hills Have Eyes (2006)

Never seen the original. Knew little about it. Figured, sure why not.

The Good:
I actually like the set-up for this film, it felt like an old horror movie plot. It was simple but a nice way to get you ready for the movie.
The brutality/lack-of-humanity of the film was well done.
I enjoyed the setting, the desert is a great setting for a horror.

The Bad:
There was just something missing.
The "hero" was difficult to believe for me. His motivation was clear, his acting was not.

Overall: I am not sure what to say. It wasn't a bad movie, it was far better than Hostel if that helps any...
